Description
This Psammocora is a bright, fluorescent reddish orange, with a distinctive bright yellow-green rim (the growing edge). Under daylight the color is muted but when the blue lights come on, you can see this one from across the room. The yellow-green rim is clearly visible in these frags, but even more striking in a full colony.
Like all Psammocora, these do best in moderate to high light and flow. These are some of the toughest of all SPS and a good starter coral for an SPS tank or mixed reef.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will be similar in size. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
