Description
The Candy Button Coral (a.k.a. Candy Cane Coral, Caulastrea sp.) is an LPS with big, fleshy polyps. These are fast-growing and robust corals that benefit from feeding. This is a hardy coral and a great addition to any reef tank. It will thrive in a wide range of conditions, but does best with moderate flow and light, and plenty of nutrients.
This variety is a bright, fluorescent, warm green — the brightest green candy button I’ve come across.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will be similar in size. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image. These frags have 2 or more heads.
