Favites – Red & Green

Description

Favites are LPS with encrusting or brain growth habits. These are the classic LPS – they do best in low to moderate flow and light with plenty of nutrients. But like most LPS, thyey tolerate a wide range of conditions, making them excellent choices for a new tank.

This variety features a bright red base color with bright green polyps. These colors show up clearly under either white lights or blues. It lacks the bright red streaks of the War Coral but is otherwise pretty much the same thing.

These are large, multi-polyp frags that cover the whole frag plug.
