Description
The Grape Coral, Euphyllia cristata, has shorter polyps than its cousin the Torch Coral, but the same structure and range of colors. Best of all, this short-tentacled torch is faster growing and therefore less expensive than the true Torch (Euphyllia glabrescens). This is a hardy coral and a great addition to any reef tank. It will thrive in a wide range of conditions, but does best with moderate flow and light, and plenty of nutrients.
This strain has bright fluorescent green tentacle tips, the brightest of any grape coral in my collection.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will be similar in size. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
Like all hard corals, this requires overnight shipping.
