Description
Leptastrea are encrusting LPS with a distinctively furry appearance. Like most LPS, these corals prefer low to moderate flow and light with plenty of nutrients, but will tolerate a wide range of conditions.
This variety has a dark red background with fluorescent green “eyes” (mouths). The coolest thing about this type is that each tentacle tip is also bright fluorescent green, giving the appearance of a dark red “skin” covered with green fur.
These are large, multi-polyp frags similar to the image shown here. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
Like all hard corals, this requires overnight shipping.
