Description
Turbinaria reniformis, the Yellow Scroll Coral, is an SPS coral with a unique growth pattern. Instead of branching these corals form unusual leafy clusters.
This variety is bright yellow under daylight, a really beautiful shade that is often missing in the reef tank. Under blue lights the polyps shine a fluorescent yellow-green, contrasting with the dark background in an eye-catching pattern.
Like most SPS, these do best in high light and high water flow. These are very forgiving corals and will often survive a tank crash, but they do best in the same conditions as other SPS like Acropora.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will be similar in size. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
