Description
Favia are LPS with encrusting or brain growth habits. These are the classic LPS – they do best in low to moderate flow and light with plenty of nutrients. But like most LPS, they tolerate a wide range of conditions, making them excellent choices for a new tank.
This color morph (green with red polyps) is pretty common, and often referred to as “Christmas”. This one has an interesting addition – it develops streaks of yellow-green like the one pictured here. Please note – NOT EVERY FRAG shows these streaks at the time of sale, but they all come from the same colony.
These are large, multi-polyp frags similar to the image shown here. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
