Favia are LPS with encrusting or brain growth habits. These are the classic LPS – they do best in low to moderate flow and light with plenty of nutrients. But like most LPS, they tolerate a wide range of conditions, making them excellent choices for a new tank.
Imported Favia often show up in various shades of this color morph (green with red polyps), but this particular colony is the brightest one of its kind that we’ve ever seen. By far the brightest coral in the LPS tank. The green is almost yellow, a really eye-catching color.
These are large, multi-polyp frags similar to the image shown here. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
Like all hard corals, this requires overnight shipping.
