Clove polyps are a group of soft corals with unusual feathery polyps. They’re generally hardy and suitable for beginners or experienced reefers. They do best in low light and flow, with plenty of nutrients.
This variety features large feathery polyps in a bright, neon orange. In the center of each polyp you can find a bright green mouth, but the overall effect is orange. This is NOT an invasive, fast growing type. Its a polyp you’ll be happy to have in your tank, especially when the blues come on at night.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will have a similar number of polyps, but because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
