The Frogspawn Coral, Euphyllia divisa, has large polyps like its cousins the Torch and Grape corals. Except in Frogspawns, these tentacles are short and branched, producing a colony covered with little round tentacle tips. This is a hardy coral and a great addition to any reef tank. It will thrive in a wide range of conditions, but does best with low to moderate flow, light, and plenty of nutrients.
This strain is bright fluorescent green with blue-purple tips on each tentacle. This color contrast makes a striking effect under blue lights or whites. There is substantial variation in color even within a colony, but this same general color scheme is maintained throughout.
The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown. However, because of natural variation among frags, and depending on which size you choose, yours may not look identical to this image.
Like all hard corals, this requires overnight shipping.
