Leptastrea – Pumpkin Pie

Description

Leptastrea are encrusting LPS with a distinctively furry appearance. Like most LPS, these corals prefer low to moderate flow and light with plenty of nutrients, but will tolerate a wide range of conditions.

This variety is a rich orange color under blues, shading towards a burnt orange under whites. This is different from the John Deere variety because here, the tentacles are chocolate-brown instead of green.

These are large, multi-polyp frags similar to the image shown here. However, because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
