Zoanthids – Tiffany

This strain didn’t look like anything special when I first acquired them as an unnamed import. But after the colony settled in and starting growing, they developed this beautiful pattern. 

This variety has medium polyps with a green-tipped skirt, a bright orange mouth, surrounded by streaky rings of blue and purple. Looks great under white lights or blues. Really benefits from high light, where it develops its best colors. 

Like all zoanthids, these like plenty of nutrients, and will thrive in a wide variety of light and flow levels. 

The frag you purchase will come from the same lineage as the image shown, and will have a similar number of polyps, but because of natural variation among frags yours may not look identical to this image.
