Description
Cerith Snails are useful members of the cleanup crew. These medium-sized snails consume a variety of nuisance algae including hair algae.
We carry White Cone Tip Ceriths (Cerithium californica) , which are among the largest of the Cerith Snails, much larger than those tiny black Ceriths.
Like most herbivorous snails these do require the presence of algae and can starve if the tank is too clean. Aside from this requirements, they are hardy snails and a good addition to the reef tank.
